The APEAR Conference 2027 is seeking thought leaders, practitioners, and innovators to share their insights at this year’s event. If you have ideas, research, or real-world experience that can advance the Employee Assistance field, we invite you to submit a proposal and join the conversation in Da Nang.

The APEAR Conference 2027 invites professionals engaged in Employee Assistance (EA) and related fields to submit abstracts for Speaker or Poster Presentations.

Whether you’re a clinician, researcher, policymaker, or industry partner, we welcome contributions that reflect the conference theme:

Topics of Interest

Proposals are encouraged in areas such as:

Clinical Quality and Governance in EAP Counseling, Management Consultation, and Coaching – Best practices, the use of AI and other technologies, ethical considerations, and quality assurance.
Organisational & Systems Approaches – Organizational strategies, policies, and interventions to create healthy and resilient workplaces, as well as government and community involvement.
Digital EAP – Innovative use of technology, the evolving role of AI in EAP service delivery, and the roles of AI and human counselors in providing effective and ethical support

Presentations may include lectures, technical presentations, panel discussions, or case studies, all delivered in English.

Criteria & Formats

Speaker Presentations

Priority will be given to submissions that meet the following criteria:

Abstract describes the presentation clearly and completely but succinctly (100-250 words).
Content of the presentation is relevant to the theme of this conference
Presentation is not designed primarily to promote or market any commercial product, service, agency, program, materials, and is focused on building awareness and education for the audience.
Presenter/Co-Presenter Information (First name, Last name, Email, Organization)

Poster Presentations

Priority will be given to submissions that meet the following criteria:

Poster Title (max: 100 characters including spaces)
Abstract should summarize the poster clearly and completely but succinctly (100-250 words).
Content of the poster is relevant to the theme of this conference
Poster is not designed primarily to promote or market any commercial product, service, agency, program, materials, and is focused on building awareness and education for the audience.
Presenter/Co-Presenter Information (First name, Last name, Email, Organization)
Keywords (4 max)

Presentations must follow this format:

Applicants must format their posters to fit the following size: 3’ (92cm) high and 4’ (122cm) wide.
APEAR will provide boards mounted on easels at the conference venue.
During the poster session, presenters are encouraged to engage with participants.
At least one poster author should be present for the entire poster session to answer questions from participants.

If selected, you will present at the APEAR Conference 2027 in Da Nang, Vietnam.

Submissions close on 31st of October 2026, and shortlisted speakers will be contacted by 30th of November 2026.

Kindly be aware that all presenters are required to register for the conference. APEAR operates as a not-for-profit event, and consequently, presenters are accountable for covering their own expenses, including travel, accommodation, and conference registration fees. Speakers benefit from the Early Bird pricing through to the end of the registration period.

SPEAKER APPLICATION

Before submitting your application, please review the APEAR 2027 Call for Speakers & Poster Presentations and the applicable submission criteria.

By submitting an application, you acknowledge that:

Submission does not guarantee acceptance. All applications will be reviewed and selected by the APEAR Conference Committee.
APEAR reserves the right to select, decline or request modifications to proposed presentations based on relevance, programme requirements and the overall balance of the conference.
Presentations must be delivered in English and should be educational in nature rather than primarily promotional or commercial.
If selected, all presenters and co-presenters are required to register for the APEAR 2027 Conference and are responsible for their own conference registration fees, travel, accommodation and related expenses.
Information submitted through the application form will be used for the purpose of reviewing and administering your submission and will be handled in accordance with APEAR’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
